How to Play Farm Manager
Welcome to your very own virtual farm! In Farm Manager, you'll cultivate crops, raise animals, and build a thriving agricultural empire. Plant seeds in fertile soil, water your growing crops, harvest ripe produce for gold, and expand your operations. The farm of your dreams awaits!
- Planting Crops: Select the 🌱 Plant tool and click any empty brown soil plot. Each planting costs 1 seed. Choose from Wheat (fast, 3 growth stages), Corn (medium, 4 stages), or Tomato (slow, 5 stages — but most profitable!).
- Watering & Growing: Crops need water to grow! Select 💧 Water tool and click on planted crops. Each watering advances growth by one stage. Water is limited — buy more from the shop or wait for rain (random event every 30-60 seconds).
- Harvesting: When crops reach full growth (bright green with produce visible), use the 🌽 Harvest tool to collect them. Harvested crops automatically convert to gold. Wheat = 30g, Corn = 50g, Tomato = 80g per plot.
- Animals: Use the 🐮 Animal tool to place animals on grass tiles. Animals produce gold passively every 15 seconds (Chicken = 5g, Cow = 15g, Sheep = 10g). Animals need grass nearby to produce!
Smart Farming Strategies
Efficient farmers plan their crop rotation carefully. Start with fast-growing Wheat to build capital quickly, then transition to high-value Tomatoes once you have a gold buffer. Keep some plots empty as "flex space" for when seed or water supplies run low — you can always plant later.
Strategic animal placement multiplies your income. Place Chickens (cheapest, 50g) on small grass patches and Cows (150g) on larger ones. Animals near water sources produce 25% more gold! Cluster your animals together to create efficient collection routes — you collect all nearby animal products with one click using the Harvest tool.
