How to Play Mahjong Solitaire
Match pairs of identical free tiles to remove them from the board. A tile is "free" when it has no tile on top of it and at least one side (left or right) is open.
- Match: Click two identical free tiles to remove them.
- Free tiles: Highlighted brighter. Blocked tiles appear darker.
- Clear the board: Remove all tiles to win!

Strategy Tips
Prioritize tiles that unblock the most other tiles. Work from the top layers down. Don't match the first available pair — look ahead!
Origins
Mahjong Solitaire was created in 1981 for the PLATO computer system. Despite the name, it's a single-player game different from traditional 4-player Mahjong.
